Our goal is to learn about the dynamics of ecosystems by focusing on these dynamics in eastern Kentucky. This focus will anchor our learning and eventually provide a scaffolding for your understanding of ecosystems. In other words, by learning the factors relevant to Kentucky ecosystems, you should be able to compare and contrast state factors and controls in other ecosystems to understand how they "work."
